A big thank you to “CGI” who came in yesterday to work with our year 9 computer science students and set them a series of fun team challenges. Amongst other activities pupils had to build a balloon powered car. All pupils thoroughly enjoyed!!
Students had to design a sustainable car, using Solar powered cells, they had to design a car to travel with a trailer and calculate the sun’s energy and distance traveled.
We took Y11 construction out to a building site of more than 300 houses to allow them to have a real feel for the construction industry.
