Revision is a key aspect of preparation for assessed work, tests, internal and external exams. Planning and preparation is a vital aspect of success.
Pupils will be given a range of techniques and strategies which they can use to support themselves through the revision process. Departments will assist pupils in preparing for tests and exams in their subject areas but also provide strategies and techniques which can be used across the school.
There will be opportunities throughout the academic year for pupils to attend revision style sessions. These could be held during lunchtime, after school or during holiday periods. Pupils will be notified of these sessions by their teachers and they are communicated to parents via ParentMail.
Holiday revision timetables will be made available via the school website and places at these sessions must be booked by emailing [email protected]
As a school we encourage all pupils to make the most of all opportunities presented to them to support and prepare them as effectively as possible to maximise their potential.
Constructive and creative revision can build confidence and develop knowledge and understanding. This provides a platform for pupils to engage in the curriculum effectively and work towards exams proactively.
